  2. If inexperienced, lots of time and patience to learn how to edit. We can train, but you must be willing to learn and to work on improving your editing skills. We do not fix your mistakes for you!
  3. If experienced, lots of time and willingness to meet deadlines. Real life does matter, but sometimes we' ll need some chapters FAST. Are you willing to work?!
  4. Willingness to work on pretty much any project that we have. There may be certain projects that you are interested in editing, but some projects may need more staff working on them. Are you willing to help out?

Proof Reader:

We are recruiting PROOF READERS!

Job description:

A proof reader will read a translator's script while following in the raws to check for missing translations. PROOF READING REQUIRES MORE THAN JUST SKIMMING OVER A SCRIPT!! Although one of the "easiest" jobs (doesn't require special skills or program), this does not mean that proof reading is "easy".

TEST:

PROOF READER TEST RAWS
PROOF READER TEST SCRIPT

Requirements are:

  1. Being meticulous: You MUST be the one to spot missing translations in the script and to contact the translator so that missing translations are filled in. Finding missing translations is YOUR JOB, not mine or the QCers', or editors'.
  2. Being FLUENT in the English language: You must have a VERY GOOD grasp of the English language. You must be as fluent as I am at the very least. You must have a good grasp of English grammar for you will be the one polishing the script so that it sounds fluid and ready for public reading.
  3. Willingness to work on any project. Proof reading will be spread out over different projects, as there are more translators than proof readers. The only exception will be aversion to smut or yaoi or materials that contain/imply mature content.

  1. ID (the ID that you will be credited by and your ID on our forum):

  5. Anything else I should know about you?
